Graduate Bridge Details
William Woods University undergraduate students can participate in the William Woods University's Graduate Bridge Program. Through this program, students can complete their bachelor’s and graduate degrees in less than the normal time it would take to complete both degrees separately. This saves students time and money to complete their bachelor’s and master’s degrees Traditional undergraduate students accepted into the Graduate Bridge Program can add a graduate course during the fall/spring terms as part of their full-time load, with no additional tuition, unless they would go into overload. Courses completed over summer are charged at the graduate rate.
Individual programs may allow students to substitute graduate courses within the Graduate Bridge Program for elective undergraduate courses towards bachelor’s degree completion. Additionally, individual programs may include restrictions on the total number of courses a student in the Graduate Bridge Program may take as an undergraduate student. Students should consult with their advisor and the discipline’s program manager for additional information. Students must have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher to register for their first graduate course and maintain a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher to continue in the Graduate Bridge Program. Additionally, students must make satisfactory progress in their graduate program of study. After completing their undergraduate degree, William Woods University students will be automatically accepted into their chosen graduate degree program to continue in their graduate studies and transfer credits into that program. Students must work with their academic advisor and the selected graduate program’s program manager to select the graduate courses they will complete while in the Graduate Bridge Program.
