General Studies (BGS) - 120 Credits

The General Studies Degree (BGS) is designed for students that want to explore a variety of disciplines to achieve educational and professional goals. The program provides students with the academic foundation to advance their careers and/or continue their graduate education. Students and their advisors (in consultation with a general studies faculty advisor) collaborate to choose courses and plan this four-year degree. The program allows students to create their own academic path, integrating coursework from across the curriculum. Students can customize their studies to explore various topics and fields or focus their coursework around a central theme or academic discipline
