Academic Catalog

Repeated Course

Students in the undergraduate program may repeat a course to attempt to achieve a higher grade. Only the credit for the latest attempt is counted toward graduation and computed in GPA. However, both the previous grade and the grade received in the repeated course, with appropriate notations, will appear on the transcript. Students in the graduate program must make a C or higher to receive credit for the course. Only one C grade will be allowed as part of the student’s work for a graduate degree. Otherwise, the same policies expressed above apply regarding GPA, graduation eligibility, and notations on the transcript.
