The C & I program is intended to provide the student with the opportunity to implement in her/his own classroom an appropriate pedagogical response to the major cultural, demographic, technological, and value oriented issues involved in restructuring education. The ability to utilize advanced learning theories and educative design to adjust curriculum and instruction in response to current research, educational trends, and knowledge of assessment procedures is emphasized.
*Students seeking the Specialization in Intercultural Studies will complete a minimum of 48 total credit hours to satisfy degree requirements.

Specialization in Intercultural Studies
This specialization is designed to immerse students in a program of study that enhances their master’s degree experience through the mutual exchange of ideas and cultural norms, encouraging the development of deep relationships. Through this specialization, every student will learn from one another and grow together.
**Students are required to have a minimum of 18 distinct credits for graduation in addition to meeting all requirements for their chosen master’s degree**
