BUS 701 Foundations of Applied Doctoral Studies
This course orients students to the demands of applied doctoral work in business. Students examine the distinction between applied and theoretical research traditions, develop doctoral-level academic writing and critical reading skills, and explore frameworks relevant to practitioner-scholarship. Coursework culminates in a preliminary literature review and statement of research interest that scaffold their doctoral study project.
