FLM 337 Directing Actors & Crew
This course is an exploration of the dual roles that a director plays in both guiding actors and managing a film crew. Using Judith Weston's Directing Actors as the guiding text, students will analyze five key films to understand practical directorial techniques. Through multimedia presentation assignments and structured discussions, students will examine how directors craft performances, manage rehearsals, and coordinate crew efforts to realize a film’s creative vision.
