FLM 330 Cinematic Lighting
This course introduces students to the artistic and technical principles of cinematic lighting. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on labs, screenings, and case studies, students will explore how light is used to create mood, define space, and tell stories in film. Primary reference material includes Kris Malkiewicz’s Film Lighting, along with selected readings and practical exercises.
