SWK 315 Community & Organizational Development

This course is the final course in the social work practice sequence.  Students develop their knowledge, values, and skills necessary for generalist social work practice with communities and organizations.  Content focuses on generalist social work interventions designed to bring about planned change in organizations and communities. Emphasis is placed on engagement, assessment, intervention, evaluation, and termination with macro systems, as well as issues related to anti-racism, diversity, equity, social justice, capacity building, and well-being.
