MSL 401 National Security, Leadership Responsibilities, and Commissioning Preparation I
In this course, students will learn about the different elements of national security policy and processes. Students will also learn about the basic Department of the Air Force (DAF) operations along with selected roles of the military in society and how current domestic and international issues affect the military profession. Topics include civilian control of the military, joint operations, defense support of civil authorities, and multi-domain operations. At the conclusion of this course, students will have a better understanding of how national security policy and processes affect DAF operations and the military profession at large. Leadership laboratory must be taken in conjunction with this course.
