Summer Residency Academic Requirement
Undergraduate students who do not work part or full time for William Woods University and are residing on campus for more than a total of fifteen business days during the summer semester must complete a minimum of three hours of academic credit. Students must be registered for a course prior to residing on campus and must be continuously enrolled during their summer residence, which may require more than three academic credits during the summer semester. A student can meet the academic credit hour requirement by completing an online course or by completing a traditional, in-person, on campus course. Summer residents must adhere to the academic deadlines published in the Academic Calendar and must adhere to the policies outlined in the Student Handbook and University Catalog. Students or designees can appeal the academic credit hour requirement to the University Provost's Office at: (provostoffice@williamwoods.edu).
