ITP 451 Field Practicum I
This course requires a minimum of 150 clock hours in an approved interpreting-related setting, providing students with immersive, real-world experience to refine their skills and apply theoretical knowledge in professional environments. Through hands-on practice, students will develop their interpreting proficiency, professional decision-making, and adaptability in diverse settings. Students will maintain a detailed log documenting their work activities, dates, and times, along with reflective explanations of key learning experiences. Additionally, students will complete a comprehensive evaluation of their internship, assessing the role of their on-site supervisor, the quality of the work environment, and the overall impact of the internship on their professional growth and readiness for the field.

ITP 450 with grade of 'C' or higher and permission of division chair.
