PLS 250 Foundations of Democracy

This course offers an examination of how unions have significantly supported democratic values. The course will cover the cultural factors that create wealth inequality; marginalized groups; and class-based inequity. Inquiry will include grass-roots movements to address particular cultural factors that support faith in institutions that benefit the average person versus a culture of individualism that benefits the wealth class.
